Oh boy that's striking distance and puts some pressure on getting the car "road worthy".

Hope to see you there...you've got nearly a year and a half to get 'er done, or at least get 'er roadworthy. Which is what I did for the 2016 Convention. I drove my car there with no interior, primer paint and no front bumper.

I'll have all of that finished (except maybe the paint) for the 2018 Convention.

Do you think you could get Elvis to give a concert? Actually, as I recall, Tom Hoskins had a good talk with him at Novi!

Our host member, Gerald, is on vacation for another week. When he gets back, we'll start putting things into a higher gear with the planning.

The October newsletter will have the official registration form, however, it'll most likely be posted here before then.

Things are coming together.

We'll have the hotel info by the end of this month.

The local Ford dealer is clearing space on the front row of his lot for our cars to be displayed during the big antique car show that takes over the city that weekend. Gerald will be feeding us at his house...complimentary cantered dinner.

There will be a secured lot for trailer parking for those trailering their cars in.

A lot more awesomeness in the works but that's what I can say now.

We're just a few days away from nailing that down, but it'll either be the weekend of Sept 15th or the following weekend.
