I'm counting the days & looking forward to seeing everyone in Memphis, I started gathering up all the items that I usually take on a road trip yesterday afternoon.

I'm like a kid waiting on Christmas. :D

Yeah, it's looking like the South Carolina / North Carolina coast is going to take the blunt of the storm & take a direct hit, I'm watching it closely.

We are about 200 miles inland.

Today I changed the oil in the wagon, checked the tires, topped of the fluids and made sure everything is tight and filled up the gas tank, the car is ready to hit the road.

We will start loading the wagon tomorrow afternoon and if the weather cooperates will hit the road Wednesday morning.

Danny, it's looking like that nasty storm is going to turn right once it hits NC.

That should hopefully keep you on the "clean" side of the storm, and hopefully sufficiently far away from it it to prevent anything serious.

The South Carolina coast is still being evacuated but it's looking like the impact in the upstate won't be as severe.

The storm track indicts hurricane Florence will impact the upstate Sunday & Monday so it looks like we will be in for some serious weather on our return trip home Sunday.

Damn the torpedoes ( In this case Hurricane ) full speed ahead, looking forward to seeing everyone.
