If your Avatar is "here one day and gone the next" for no apparent reason, it's probably due to forum software getting updated. This happens two or three times per year and helps keep the forums safer from spammers and various internet creeps and also generally makes things run smoothly.

The downside of these upgrades is that some avatars (usually mine  ) get dumped in the mix.

If this happens to you, simply re-install your avatar like you did initially and it'll start showing up again on all of your posts, new and old.

Enjoy!!

I updated the forum software again today....and for some reason, the software loves to mess with the Avatars when I do this.

If your avatar is not showing up, go back into the control panel for your account and reload it.....that should bring it back up.

I just made some adjustments to the avatar settings that will allow users a bit more leeway with the size of their avatar photo.

If your avatar isn't showing up, please try to reset it.

BTT

If your avatar isn't showing up, it's probably because the software updates that I install tend to wipe them clean.

All you have to do is re-install your avatar photo and it should start showing up again.
