Believe it or not this is one of my past rides. This is in the Point Alpha ( outpost alpha to us) Museum on the old east German border at Rasdorf Germany. Since I spent over 5 months of my life in this particular compound overlooking the border, it's strange to me that something I had to do with is a museum now. I've been back to this place three times since the border came down in 89. Anyway back to the tank. It's an M-60A3 wearing bumper numbers 1/11ACR (1st squadron/ 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment) and D21 (D company, 2nd platoon tank # 2 as in 0,1,2,3etc) The tank comander and crew of D-21 were all personal friends of mine. I rode and wrenched on this tank a good bit. I know this because this and the previous D-21 were Both M-60A3's and the subsequent D-21 was an M-1 Abrams.

I don't really know why I'm telling you all this but anyway.....
