Here`s some of my other cars.

1961 Galaxie.
Owned by my dad from 1971 to 1976
Me in 76`

And me in 2000 when I finally got to buy it back after some years outside the family
Image
Have of course a special relationship with it.
Wanted it ever since my dad sold it.
After the 54 is finished, its going to get a rebulid. The paint is not good, and keeps cracking and falling off..
Got a 390/ C6 in it

1939 Ford Delivery
Rod project, with 8BA flathead.
Been working on it, but put it aside to finish the 54`.
Need to collect more parts for it first anyway ;)
Image
1965 Dodge Coronet wagon
Had alot of fun with this one with a fresh license ;)
But its not in use anymore. Just keeping it stored.

1952 Ford Country Squire
9 passenger

Throw in a pic of my parents 53 Sunliner.
Its a real family member.
My father gave it to my mother at her 18th birthday in 1968 !

Well this was some of the cars in my life beside the 54`

Cool photos,,I guess you already know I'm a wagon guy and it appears you have a lot of projects on your hands,,I'm also a guy that likes the early stuff too.

I'll bet the delivery will make a super nice ride and the photo of the 1961 Galaxie both then and now is priceless

thanks for sharing the photos and story.

I may have too many cars, but I hope to leave some for my children ;)
I think they need to have some cars to fix up also.
Beside the american cars, I also have some european cars.
Love the Anglias also ;)
Got a place to store them, so I think its better to keep them for the next generation than to see them get crushed.
I`m a bit of an nostalgic also, so history of the cars is important to me.
Here`s another time picture of the 53`and the Galaxie
Taken ca 30 years apart ;)

The 53, is actually a real custom car. Originally a 2door Customline.
If you look closely, you may see that the convertible top isnt Ford ;)

My 65 Coronet is btw slightly customized.
I`m missing one of the taillights and they are hard to find, so put I on some Fords from the right year ;)

A few more of my parents 53`
It was restored from 79-82` and been used alot in the summer since then.
My dad searched a long time for the Coronado kit, and finally found one in Sweden.
I dont know how commond they are in America :?: But here they are quite rare.

My daily driver
Image
94`Sub 2wd with a 350.
These cars are most commond here in Norway as 4wd and diesels.
Run mine on LPG. Otherwise I dont think I could afford it as a daily driver.
Gasprice here is now 2,4 Us dollar pr litre

These was of course quite commond cars here in Norway, and today they have their own clubs.
I know they were sold in America also, but how commond are these "over there" today?
:)

It's been a long time since I've seen an Anglia here stateside.

Of course, with the Harry Potter movies being so popular and that flying Anglia....they've probably gained in popularity.

There hasnt been much activity here for a while, so i thought i would throw my other ride up here. 1930 Ford Highboy Coupe. 48 flathead, 97s, firestones, model A frame, mostly put together with the old stuff. Big exception, put a t5 5 speed in which makes highway driving a cinch. Spartan interior, no heat, no radio. Just the way i like it....Heres a before and after.....
