Finally got some time to work on the car. New brake and fuel lines. I no longer have a host to link my photos from. I'm surprised the photobucket pictures haven't disappeared. No way am I going to pay their extortion.

Edit; found a way to post new pictures.

Today I dropped the body back onto the frame, and I have a problem. We had to replace the two front floor braces and of course the holes do not align with the frame holes. Two do, and two do not. I heard a good saying on a car program yesterday. Hammer to fit and paint to match. I might be headed there.

The progress looks great Gary,I too heard that hammer to fit line.

BTW,I have down loaded all my photo's from photobucket to my PC so none will be held hostage by the PB's greed & outrageous new policy.

I don't have a problem there, my photos were on my PC to start. I'm hoping that I haven't exceeded my quota or whatever their criteria is, and the photos in this and other forums don't disappear.

Been a long time. I haven't been idle, just nothing to take pictures of until now. I got my NOS block back from the machine shop, dipped and crosshatched, crankshaft polished, cam reground, and a box of new internal parts. Time to start cleaning engine parts, like the exhaust manifolds.

A friend of mine turned me on to a derust procedure for large items. Pretty neat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54ADeB6V1rQ&list=R

Here is my plastic tub anode, before the manifold and after and the water solution after 24 hours (2 hours isn't long enough.
