You know Andy....you could sneak in a 292 or 312 and paint it up pretty like a 239 and no one would know. :D

I really, really wanted to. Made the decision to completely rebuild the 239. It's ready to go and hopefully I will drive it home next week. Can't wait to see what the difference between 60 vs. 130 cylinder pressure does. Maybe I'll spin a rear tire! :)

Here's the 292 I installed in the fall to replace the smokey old Y-block.

Once it's done we'll use the Country Squire to tow our home built twin engine dragster to the track
