For a great fit and steering box clearance the HEDMAN 88400 headers are a perfect fit.

Jeff,

I now have a 302 with GT40 heads and an AOD sitting in the car... Just wondering if the Hedman 88400 headers fit the engine with these heads...

Please let me know what you think...

Thanks,

Gene

The headers work on a set of GT40 heads, but no plug clearance on 5&6 when used on the GT40-P heads

I see that in the US built 54 they were using the over head valve V8. The Canadian version on 54 was still using the flat head. Do the same engine mounts work for the late model mustang, or is it different due to the cross members. Can anyone shed some light to my dilemma. I am looking at putting in a 302 with AOD.

I am in the process of installing a 302 & C5 in my 54 Victoria. My question is whether or not I can remove the front clip (minus hood) as a unit? I have done this many times with trucks, but need some guidance for a passenger car
Thanks,
Bob

There is no need to remove the front clip to install the 302/C5,so why do you want to do it ?
