What's the seat removal procedure for a Fordor? I don't have keys for the car and want to install new locks, including in the truck. I figure removing the rear seats is the easy access but I didn't feel anything immediately that seemed like access. Is there a way to remove them without getting in the truck first?

The bottom of the rear seat just lifts out. Pull up on the forward part of the bottom to dislodge it.

Once the bottom is out, there's two bolts holding the backrest in place....they're down at the bottom. Take those two bolts out, then the backrest is just hanging on two hooks....pull straight up and it'll dislodge.

Thanks! I'm interested to see what I find in the trunk. There were a pile of 1980s "gentleman's magazines" under the rear floor mats, so who knows whats in the back! Hopefully I'll have a report this evening.

Well a pair of rims with snow tires, the spare, and an old steel gas can.

Still haven't gotten all the way back there, but I did find a set of snow chains too. I'm sure some could creatively come up with some excitement there.

Get a bunch of ratchet extensions and poke them into the trunk to undo the bolts of the latch so the trunk lid will open.
